HEALTH & SAFETY
At JHP Building Ltd, we’re a small team, and we keep it tight on site. You’ll always know who’s working at your place, and we make sure everyone stays safe, no matter the size of the job.
Keep clear of the work area unless we’ve said it’s safe to enter.
If we ask you to step away, it’s not to be rude — it’s to keep you out of harm’s way.
Let us know if you’ve got pets, kids, or others who need extra consideration.
1.0 CLIENT SAFETY:
Kids and animals are curious — we get it. But please keep them out of the work zone.
We’ll let you know if we’re doing anything that might be risky or loud.
1.1 KIDS & PETS:
1.2 TOOLS & GEAR:
Don’t touch our tools or materials — even if they’re just sitting there.
We’ll clean up after ourselves and keep sharp or dangerous stuff out of reach.
1.3 NO GO ZONES:
If we fence or block off an area, it’s for a reason — don’t step through.
Stay well back from ladders, power tools, and any digging or demo.
Watch your step — cords, nails, and loose materials can be a trip hazard.
If you see something that looks dodgy or unsafe, let us know straight away.
Don’t smoke or use open flames near the site.
1.4 COMMON SENSE STUFF:
1.5 PPE & SAFETY GEAR:
We wear the right gear — steel caps, masks, ear protection — and so should any visitors.
If you're coming into the site, we’ll let you know what you need to wear.
We’ll keep you updated if anything changes — hazards, noise levels, deliveries, or work that affects your space.
Communication keeps things safe and smooth — we don’t leave you guessing.
1.6 STAY IN THE LOOP:
We respect your home like it’s our own — and that means keeping it safe, clean, and under control at all times.
